Geierslay

The Kilburgs were already winemakers when Columbus discovered America and have been making delcious wines for over 750 years. Located on the banks of the Moselle, surrounded by vineyards and protected by the rock of the Great Lord, the path of Geierslay has been marked by tradition, passion, fascination and innovation.

Today the winery under the leadership of Rudolf and Brigitte Kilburg, with the help of their children Sabine, Stefan and Max. Focus is always on the vineyards, tight collaboration with Mother Nature, strict regulation of the yield and a selective harvest at the peak of ripeness brings us outstanding grape qualities year after year.

Dornfelder

This Dornfelder has herbs and ripe red fruit on the nose. Flavors of strawberries, cherries and plum show on the palate. It has a lovely and friendly finish of soft spiced acidity. It is light and easy to drink yet full of flavor and a lot tannin.

Pinot Noir

A vibrant and fresh bouquet filled with black cherry, spice and a hint of spicy stem. The palate is silky and approachable with seductive levels of sweet fruit, plenty of fine grained tannin as backbone and a long mineral finish

Riesling

An exquisite, well balanced Riesling that combines citrus, peach and apricot aromas. There is a juicy mid-palate and a refreshing finish.
