Grand Vin 2016

 

An unusual blend of Tocai Friulano, Viognier, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, the Blanchard y Lurton Grand Vin 2016 is an intensely aromatic wine with great complexity on the nose. The peach and apricot notes of viognier blend with notes of gooseberry and citrus fruits. On the palate, the first impression is of sweet, ripe fruit immediately followed by freshness, minerality and a lovely grip and texture. On the finish, the wine is long and intensely pure, building to an almost saline note.
